Remarkably detailed design:

The reverse depicts a beautifully rendered Athenian Owl perched on a branch, head facing forward, with a crescent moon and olive sprig in the background.

The obverse features a single footprint on the surface of the moon, a small but powerful symbol of the achievement. Along the top half of the room are images of the moon in four stages along with the names of the three NASA programs that made the moon landing possible, "MERCURY," "GEMINI," and "APOLLO.
