Released in 2001 the Lord of the Ring first movie, "The Fellowship of the Ring," took the world by storm. Peter Jackson adapted the film from J.R.R. Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings" books and to viewers amazement brought the characters and their fictional world to life in breathtaking detail.
The reverse of this coin depicts an officially licensed image of Sauron's Ring of Power with the dark speech of Mordor inscribed upon the ring, as well as circumscribed upon the coin.
